Pura Vida Collection

I recently came back from my summer vacation in Costa Rica where I spent several weeks doing yoga, playing in the ocean, hiking, enjoying long summer evenings with good friends, and generally getting recharged and inspired.

Upon returning to the US I developed our new Pura Vida collection. I hope you enjoy it.

Pura vida is a simple phrase meaning "pure life" In costa Rica its a greeting heard frequently as "hello".

Pura vida means to live life with a deep appreciation for everything around you, despite the circumstances. It is the recognition that everything is full of life- from a butterfly, to a young surfer on the beach selling his hand made jewelry, and that everything is worthy of deep respect. This reverence for life is a feeling that our Pura Vida collection attempts to capture and honor.

High Point Spring Market

Hi Everyone,

Its been the most unbelievable month. I returned from our exhibit at High Point Spring Market in North Carolina and am still catching up on things at the studio. Our first time showing at High Point was even better than I could have imagined. Not only did we have an opportunity to show our newest designs and connect with buyers, we also made many new friends including interior designers, boutique owners, bloggers, other inspiring manufacturers, and press.

Below are a couple of highlights from the show including the ribbon cutting ceremony at IHFC. We are so proud to be a part of this family and look forward to going back in the Fall.

Cannot wait to share some of the new developments we are working on directly inspired by our time at market.

Happy Holidays!

Hello dear friends! I hope that you are enjoying the season and all of the good feelings that it can bring. Despite some of the sad news we've been hearing lately, we have to try during these times to pause and reflect on all that is good in our life, in our community, and in the world.
I am not being a pollyanna, but I truly believe that its important for us to recognize how precious life really is and that we have to value the time we've been given on this planet and live each day mindfully, with intention.
For us, this also means taking a little time away from business to focus on our loved ones.

We will be away from the office until January 7th, 2013.

We thank you for your support during this past year and look forward to hearing from you and working on new projects together in the new year.

With Warmest Regards,

Shirley Shivhon

Transition into Fall

Summer is nearly over! Womp womp.
Luckilly Fall is one of my favorite seasons to design and decorate. All the rich colors and textures; mother nature showing off.

I wanted to share some of my favorite Fall  area rugs. I'm excited about them!
Are you transitioning your home into Fall?

As Seen In

We have recently had the pleasure of being featured in both Angeleno Interiors Magazine and the new Fall issue of Hospitality Style. As always we are grateful to the amazing editorial staff who allows us these opportunities and choosing our rugs.

We encourage you to pick up both publications and get inspired.
